Job Description:
The Medical College is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Professor of General Surgery to join our esteemed faculty. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, guiding clinical and surgical practices, and conducting research in the field of General Surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching:
Deliver lectures and conduct practical sessions for undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MS) students in General Surgery. Develop and update curriculum and teaching materials. Mentor and guide students in their academic and clinical progress. Conduct and supervise examinations and assessments.

Clinical Duties:
Oversee and participate in clinical rounds, surgeries, and outpatient department (OPD) services. Provide expert surgical care to patients. Train and supervise residents, interns, and other medical staff.

Research:
Initiate and guide research projects in the field of General Surgery. Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at national and international conferences. Collaborate with other departments and institutions for interdisciplinary research.

Administrative Duties:
Participate in departmental meetings and committees. Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures. Assist in the accreditation and inspection processes of the medical college.

Qualifications and Experience:
MBBS and MS (General Surgery) from a recognized institution. Minimum of 10 years of teaching and clinical experience in General Surgery. Proven track record of research and publications in peer-reviewed journals. Experience in curriculum development and academic administration is desirable. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
