The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, teaching medical students, and participating in research activities. Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Perform surgical procedures under supervision and independently, as per the experience.
Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
Participate in rounds, outpatient clinics, and emergency duties.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Teaching:
Assist in the education and training of medical students and junior residents.
Conduct bedside teaching, lectures, and seminars.
Participate in curriculum development and evaluation processes.
Research:
Engage in clinical research projects and contribute to academic publications.
Present research findings at national and international conferences.
Support ongoing departmental research initiatives.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Participate in departmental meetings and committees.
Assist in quality improvement and clinical audit activities.
Qualifications:
Educational Requirements:
MBBS and MS in General Surgery from a recognized institution.
Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or relevant State Medical Council.
Experience:
Previous experience as a resident in general surgery is preferred.
Demonstrated competence in performing surgical procedures.
