Job opportunity for Neurosurgeon doctor to a multispecialty hospital in Hyderabad.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neurosurgeon to join our reputed hospital. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and performing surgical treatment for disorders of the brain, spine, and nervous system. The role requires exceptional surgical precision, advanced clinical expertise, and the ability to manage critical and emergency cases with professionalism and compassion.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex brain and spinal surgeries, including trauma surgeries, tumor removal, spine stabilization, neurovascular surgery, and minimally invasive neurosurgery.
- Diagnose and manage neurological conditions such as brain injuries, spinal cord diseases, stroke, aneurysms, degenerative spine disorders, hydrocephalus, and congenital abnormalities.
- Interpret diagnostic tests including CT, MRI, EEG, EMG, and angiography.
- Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care, follow-up, and patient counseling.
- Work collaboratively with neurologists, orthopedic spine surgeons, radiologists, anesthesiologists, and ICU/rehabilitation teams.
- Handle emergency and trauma cases including head injuries and spinal fractures.
- Maintain accurate patient records, surgical documentation, and ensure compliance with hospital safety standards.
- Participate in research activities, academic programs, and departmental development.
Requirements
- MBBS with MS / MCh / DNB in Neurosurgery from a recognized medical institution.
- Valid medical registration and license to practice.
- Proven experience in both elective and emergency neurosurgical cases.
- Strong clinical judgment, decision-making skills, and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication, leadership qualities, and patient management skills.
