Job Summary:
Hiring Pathology Senior resident for a medical college in Madurai Tamil Nadu.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical and Diagnostic Services
Perform routine and specialized pathological examinations, including histopathology, cytology, and hematology.
Participate in autopsies and ensure accurate reporting of findings.
Supervise and ensure timely delivery of laboratory diagnostic services.
Teaching and Training
Actively engage in teaching undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD/MS) students.
Conduct practical demonstrations and tutorials as part of the academic curriculum.
Assist in preparing academic schedules and materials for student learning.
Research
Participate in ongoing departmental research projects.
Initiate and contribute to research publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Guide students in conducting research and writing theses.
Administrative Duties
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of diagnostic work.
Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with institutional policies, medical ethics, and regulatory standards.
Other Responsibilities
Provide on-call diagnostic services when required.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in pathology and integrate them into practice.
Foster a collaborative environment within the department.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
MBBS and MD/DNB in Pathology from a recognized medical institution.
Registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council.
Experience
Fresh MD graduates or up to 3 years of experience as a Senior Resident in Pathology.
Skills and Competencies
Strong diagnostic and analytical skills.
Proficiency in teaching and mentoring students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Remuneration
